In this part of our ongoing Active Adult 4 Less article we travel across the Central and Southern United States in search of great housing opportunities for under $200,000 within age-restricted or active lifestyle communities.

A community that has intrigued us for many years is Fairfield Glade.  Located on the Cumberland Plateau in tax friendly Tennessee it enjoys mild winters and summers with long spring and summer seasons and is home to more than 8,000 residents from all over the world.

Fairfield Glade is an active lifestyle playground that is situated on more than 12,000 wooded acres offering owners plenty of championship golf (90 holes!!) and 11 private lakes, plus indoor and outdoor tennis and a wellness center with fitness equipment, a track and an indoor lap pool.
