The location of Celebration
Celebration is a popular retirement community situated in northwest Osceola County, Florida next to Interstate 4 and south of U.S. 192. Although it offers quick and easy access to all Disney facilities, it does not have the tourist-like feel. Instead, this senior living community is a pleasant island in the middle of Disney World and Kissimmee. There are several shopping centers within a short driving distance of Celebration. It is a 20 minute drive to Orlando International Airport and 10 minutes to Downtown Orlando. When residents want a change from water and theme parks, it offers many other options. The Orlando Shakespeare theatre, Lake Ivanhoe, Fort Gatlin Recreation Complex, Lake Jesup and Orlando Science Center are just a few of the many attractions available here. No wonder it is considered one of the top retirement communities in Florida.
