In 1774, Edmond Pendleton left his home in the Fredericksburg area to represent Virginia at the Continental Congress and help our founders give birth to a nation. Looking forward to the 21st century the name Pendleton was chosen for this gracious community as a reflection of the rich heritage of this beautiful land.
